We remember our humble beginning in the home inspection industry. Most people are not in a position to spend several thousand dollars on a home inspection course. Therefore, we make the course affordable. With that in mind, we can enroll more students and provide them with a quality education. When you consider the topics covered and the quality of the training, we could certainly charge more, but train fewer students.
Absolutely. I am currently a member of the InterNACHI (International Association of Certified Home Inspectors and the International Code Council). Only about 20% locally and nationally are a part of a home inspection organization. It is not a requirement in the state of Georgia, but you need to stay abreast of the current changes in the building industry.
We provide all students with a list of recommended tools. It is our recommendation that you search for the best products at the best price. We will point you in the right direction or to your local hardware store. That is how you get the best deals. When it is all said and done, there is a very low overhead cost to start your home inspection business, which can be as little $300 to $500.
